Delivery & Pick-Up Policy - Balloonixy

At Balloonixy, we take great pride in delivering high-quality balloon décor, gifts, and specialty items with exceptional care. To ensure a smooth and reliable experience for all customers, please review our Delivery & Pick-Up Policy below.
1. Delivery Options
Balloonixy offers local delivery for balloon décor, balloon gift boxes, and event installations.
1.1 Delivery Area
We currently deliver within Elliot Lake Ontario and surrounding areas. Delivery outside our standard zone may be available upon request and may include additional fees.
1.2 Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are calculated based on distance, type of order, and required setup. Final delivery fees will appear at checkout.
1.3 Delivery Windows
All deliveries are made within the chosen delivery window selected by the customer at checkout.
Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the order at the scheduled time.
1.4 Missed Delivery Attempts
- If no one is available at the time of delivery:
- A re-delivery fee will apply, or
- The order may be returned to our studio for pick-up.
- Refunds are not provided for missed delivery attempts.
1.5 Weather & Safety
Severe weather, unsafe road conditions, or unforeseen circumstances may delay delivery. We will notify you immediately of any changes or delays.
2. Pick-Up Orders
Pick-up is available for select products at our Balloonixy studio.
2.1 Pick-Up Location
Pick-up details will be provided after checkout. We do not offer unannounced or unscheduled pick-ups.
2.2 Pick-Up Windows
Customers must pick up their order during the confirmed pick-up window.
If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible.
2.3 Unclaimed Orders
Orders not picked up within 24 hours of the scheduled time may be discarded due to the perishable nature of balloon products. Refunds are not issued for unclaimed orders.
3. Product Handling & Responsibility
3.1 Customer Responsibility After Delivery or Pick-Up
Once an order has been delivered or picked up, Balloonixy is no longer responsible for:
- Heat exposure
- Rough handling
- Improper transportation
- Weather-related damage
We recommend transporting balloons in a clean vehicle with air conditioning and avoiding sharp objects.
4. Incorrect Delivery Details
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
If an order cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete information, additional delivery fees apply, and refunds are not provided.
5. Event Delivery & Installations
- For event décor requiring setup:
- Setup and tear-down times are coordinated in advance.
- The customer or venue must ensure access at the scheduled time.
- Additional fees apply for stairs, difficult access, or delayed access.
6. Cancellations & Changes
6.1 Delivery/Pick-Up Orders
Changes to delivery or pick-up times must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled time.
6.2 Event Installations
Event décor delivery times may be locked in advance and cannot always be changed due to scheduling conflicts with other events.
7. Pricing Errors & App Malfunctions
In the rare event a technical error or third-party app malfunction displays incorrect pricing at checkout, Balloonixy reserves the right to cancel and fully refund any affected orders.
